Annie learns she's smart, strong and brave, helping her friend Lily after a park accident.

Although I wrote this story for my oldest granddaughter, this story is for every kid who feels a little unsure sometimes. “Smart, Strong, and Brave!” comes from watching my seven year old granddaughter learn to believe in herself. She’s a kind, quiet girl who needed a nudge to see how amazing she is. At my wife’s request, I wrote this to acknowledge her growth in self-confidence—and kids like her—that they can be smart, strong, and brave, even when they’re scared. Annie's journey is simple, with her friend Lily and Grammy cheering her on. It’s a story to read together, with short chapters and words that repeat, because kids love that. I hope it makes you smile, try new things, and feel brave, just like my granddaughter did. Share it with someone you love, and let them know they’re Sparky too.
