I have many but had to get rid of them due to the rv. Broke my heart. Kept ones signed by author..I have close to a 1000 on my kindle.

I think it's very special to have books on your shelves by people you know personally. My dad has several by friends and family members, and I'm carrying on his tradition

When I was just three years old, my grandmother told me, " If you do any sin, you will be sent to Hell. You have to face a random torture by the demons."
That is enough to make a fearless child calm down. She controls my siblings in that way, too. Due to our calmness, neighbours adored us too much.
Though my grandmother held the key, she never disclosed the truth.
Only told them, " I'm very lucky to get grandchildren like these."
Now, I am 29 years old. But those lessons still work. So, I loved to carry this irrational fear.
I was very fortunate to have a great-grandmother like her who taught us, her grandchildren, not to commit any sin.
