Aliens Abduct Animals and Mutate them into Warriors

[Introduction]
So this is a new campfire because I think I made the previous one too complicated this one is more simple a race of aliens abduct Earth Animals and Mutate them into Anthropomorphic Creatures to be warriors, the reason? This race of aliens have been ardent pacifists for too long their bodies have atrophied so now they can't fight back even if they wanted to and hostile aliens are pushing closer and closer to their home world so they know what they need Earth Animals Earth is the most biodiverse planet in the Milky Way life there has the best instincts for survival so they want Earth Animal killer instincts and reflexes to protect them

Inspired by TMNT, Bucky O'Hare and the Toad Wars and Power Rangers
Name: Shadow
Sex: Female
Species: Norway Rat (Rattus norvegicus)
Appearance: Is a 5 foot tall Rat-Woman with gray fur coat and jet black 'head-fur' she usually wears in a ponytail
Bio: Shadow was selected to be an infiltrator and spy he Rat teeth can chew through even the alloys of enemy ships and her flexible body and relatively petite size helps in in navigating tight spaces like air ducts

The Aliens hovered over the ghetto part of a city they knew they had to be quick here or humans would spot them...

Then they found what they were looking for...A common sewer rat left the safety of the underground to pick at some scraps.

Using the tractor beam the aliens beamed the rat aboard and put her in the bath of mutagen goo that would mutate her into a humanoid intelligent creature
Name: Flower
Sex: Male
Species: Striped Skunk
Appearance: Looks like the typical skunk, only 6 feet tall, and can walk bipedal, among other things.
Bio: Selected to be something of an Assault Infiltrator, his spray can incapacitate others if need be.

The skunk had simply been raiding the trash when it had been taken.

"Looks like a cat," one alien said.

"That's a skunk," said another. "Don't be in the same room as it for a while."
As Shadow was immersed in the Mutagen her body began to grow and some head-fur a different color than her body coat began to sprout
The skunk wondered what was going on. Everything felt odd.
As Shadow slept and uneasy sleep as she continued to mutate, she began to hear...Voices around her and what's more she understood what they were saying

"Are you sure about these...Earth Specimens? They seem rather small..."

"Do you want something that's too large to maneuver in a tight spaceship?"

"We still need at least one more..."
The skunk was trying to figure out what was going on, past the liquid. It felt that it should be drowning.

And yet, it wasn't.
Slowly Shadow opened her eyes a little bit...Beyond the green liquid she was floating in she could make out vague shapes of creatures that kind of looked like humans but with big bulbous heads with giant eyes and frail tiny little bodies underneath...
The skunk tried to look around. It all felt so strange. Who was out there?
"We still need one more..." Came another voice

"And what do you suggest?" Came the second voice "I told you...We can't have too large a specimen so no elephants!"
What was an elephant? the skunk wondered.
"Oh...Frick..." Said one "...The brainwaves...These creatures aren't fully asleep!"
What did they mean by that? the skunk wondered.
Quickly the strange green liquid drained from the pods giving both animals and pleasant tickly feeling like when water drains away from your body in the bath
"What's going on?" the skunk asked. "Wait. Was that me?"
We need at least three to start properly so I'm putting this on hold until someone accepts or declines

The End!

Then one of the Aliens said "I think we've found a third specimen!"
"Hello?" the skunk thought. "What's going on? What is this stuff?"
And the Spaceship quickly zipped off to a different part of the world
The skunk wanted out of the container. They began moving and thrashing around.
Name: Romeo (Rome) Wolfgang

Sex: Male

Species: Dire wolf (Aenocyon dirus)

Appearance: Standing nearly seven feet tall with a powerful, muscular build, his body is cloaked in dense, black fur. Both his hands and feet bear retractable claws, remnants of his primal lineage. Yet despite his bestial form, his mind is shaped more by human culture than by instinct. The result of a genetically engineered birth and relentless experimentation on his DNA, he often suppresses his wolfish urges in favor of rational thought and learned behavior, walking the line between beast and man.

Bio: Selected to be an Assault Tactician due to the various experimental changes to his body coupled with the alien mutagen his mind has taken in various assault tacticians supplied by the aliens from the various battles they observed.

Rome was the result of a bold scientific experiment to bring an ancient species back from extinction. By splicing DNA from various wolf breeds and even domestic dogs, scientists managed to revive the dire wolf a massive, long lost predator from the Ice Age. The genetically engineered creatures they created were stronger, faster, and far more intelligent than any wolf alive today.

Rome was the fourth of his kind to be born.

His elder siblings Romulus, Remus, and his younger sister Khaleesi, only two months old formed the first pack. Rom, the eldest, took the role of pack leader. Romulus and Remus were the celebrated successes, showered with attention for being the first viable creations. Rome, born a month after Rom, often found himself in their shadow.

But Rome didn’t mind. He found comfort in other things.

He loved the humans who fed him warm milk and cradled him while they sat watching images on what he would later learn was called a television. His favorite of them all was a woman named Emily. She always smelled sweet, like flowers or candy, and she would whisper kind words while holding him close. Whenever he could, Rome would nuzzle into her neck just to breathe in her scent.

“You’re something special,” she told him often. And Rome believed it. In his own quiet, instinctive way, he claimed her.

Emily was his.

“Alright, little guy, what are we watching today?” she’d ask with a smile.
Rome would bark in response; though in his mind, he was saying, Let’s watch the show with the food again.

She’d lift him gently into her lap and feed him his bottle while flipping through the channels.

That peaceful routine shattered one day.

A sudden commotion outside the lab startled both Rome and Emily. Rome looked to her for reassurance, but her wide eyes gave him no comfort. Moments later, alarms blared, bathing the lab in flashing red light. Rome whimpered, confused and frightened.

Emily clutched him close. “It’s okay,” she whispered, though her voice trembled. “Everything’s going to be alright.”

Then came the explosion heat burst through the room, and Rome heard Emily scream. Then...nothing.

When Rome woke, everything had changed.

He was trapped in a large glass tube, surrounded by machines that beeped and blinked in strange rhythms. Green liquid churned inside nearby tanks. The air reeked of chemicals. He saw no sign of Emily. No Romulus. No Remus. No Khaleesi. No mother.

Just the cold hum of machines and the growing sense of dread.

Then the green liquid began to pour into his tube.

Rome panicked, scrambling in circles, but there was nowhere to run. The strange fluid coated his fur, and a burning sensation spread across his body. He yelped as it soaked through to his skin. When it reached his mouth, he cried out, but the liquid forced its way inside. He gagged, swallowed, and then the fire began inside him.

His bones ached. His limbs stretched. Muscles tore and reformed. His entire body reshaped itself in agonizing spasms.

Long, humanlike legs grew beneath him powerful, but still covered in thick black fur. His forelegs became arms with hands, fingers tipped with claws. His torso expanded, rippling with new muscle. His snout lengthened slightly, keeping a lupine muzzle, but his jaw was now full of sharp, predatory teeth.
And the pain still didn’t stop.

His mind throbbed as if new thoughts were being forced into it. His ears twitched and perked up. The liquid finally drained, leaving him collapsed on the floor of the tube, panting and shivering.

He blinked, his eyes burning. Everything felt…wrong. And yet, somehow, more real than before. Rome had changed. His body was no longer that of a pup.
He had become something new; something between man and beast.

Finally the liquid was trained from their tanks as it was clear the first two were wide awake.

"All right..." Said one of the Aliens "...I suspect you have a few questions about what is going on."
(Lonewolf? In a campfire? I must be dead!)

"What's going on?" the skunk asked. "Wait, was that me talking?"
Rome’s ears twitched as the voices reached him. Disoriented, he tried to stand, vision still blurry. Shapes slowly came into focus. The speaker looked familiar...not in a comforting way, but like something he and Emily used to watch on the “black box.” He now remembered it was called a television. The creature reminded him of a giant insect from those old bug documentaries.

The alien stepped forward; its body encased in a dark, chitinous shell that shimmered under the lights. What Rome first took as green robes were actually folded wings, wrapped around its slender torso like a cape.

“I am Cronk,” it said. “We are Malignoids, an insectoid race. Traditionally, we serve our Queen without question, but she has gone mad. Queen Maligna now seeks to conquer the entire galaxy. Many of us refuse to follow her, and we’ve formed a resistance. But we can’t stop her alone. So, we’ve enlisted help...from across the stars.”

Rome pushed himself upright on shaky legs, his new body still foreign. His voice surprised him when it came out.

“What did you do to us?” he asked, his voice rough, deep but clear and shockingly human.

Cronk tilted his head. “We tried to make contact with Earth’s governments, but your people are still caught in cycles of greed and mistrust. They are too much like Queen Maligna. We chose you instead beings on the fringe of society, made by humans, yet not entirely accepted by them.”

Another voice spoke up, from the tube opposite Rome. “Why us?”

Cronk paused before answering. “Before we continue, we need to know who we’re speaking with. Do you have names?”

The female rat spoke first. “My name is Shadow.”

Then the tall skunk chimed in. “I’m Flower.”

All eyes turned to Rome, who hesitated a moment. Memories of Emily flickered in his mind; her smile, the warmth of her arms, the way she’d laugh at the cooking shows they watched together. One name in particular stuck with him Wolfgang Puck, their favorite chef.

“My name is Romeo Wolfgang...but just call me Rome.”

Cronk nodded. “Shadow. Flower. Rome. Very well. You have been brought here to aid us in our war. In exchange for your help, we will share advanced technology with Earth enough to change your world for the better.”

Rome’s mind was still racing. I don’t care about technology...I just want my brothers, my sister...my mother...and Emily.

His eyes narrowed. “What if we say no?”

Cronk’s wings shifted slightly; his voice solemn. “You may return to Earth. But if we fail here, Queen Maligna will bring her war to your planet. Everything and everyone you care about will be lost. I won’t lie to you this may not have been the most ethical way to recruit you. But it was necessary.”

Rome looked between the others. Shadow’s gaze was calculating. Flower still looked overwhelmed. But Rome straightened, jaw tight with resolve.

“If we’re doing this...we’ll need armor. Weapons. Gear.”

Cronk gave a small nod. “Of course. You’ll have everything you need.”

Cronk said "We abducted you because we have learned that Earth's biosphere has the strongest life force energy which means the animals of Earth have the strongest abilities to fight the Queen who covets the life force of other planets to survive."
"Sounds like fun," said Flower. "So, when do we start?"
“Sounds like fun,” Flower said with a grin, his white tipped tail flicking behind him. “So, when do we start?”

Cronk’s mandibles clicked softly, his tone turning grave. “We abducted you because Earth’s biosphere holds the strongest life force energy we’ve encountered. That energy flows through its creatures especially those like you. The Queen feeds on it. Consumes it. Covets it. That’s why she will come for Earth eventually.”

The words settled heavily in the chamber. Rome’s ears twitched as the meaning sank in. They weren’t just chosen they were targeted. Earth, his home… Emily… his family they were all in danger.

He glanced toward Shadow. She stood still, arms crossed, sharp eyes narrowed like she was already calculating her first infiltration. Flower had his hands on his hips, still smiling like this was an adventure.

Rome wasn’t sure what this was yet. But he knew what it felt like: war.

He cleared his throat. “If our life force is so valuable...does that mean she’ll come looking for us first?”

Cronk turned, gesturing toward a nearby console with a wave of one clawed limb.

The screen lit up, showing a map of stars. A few were marked in red.

“She already is,” Cronk said grimly. “These are worlds she has drained. Oceans boiled. Forests turned to ash. Species erased.”

Rome’s fists clenched. His claws extended reflexively, clicking against the metal floor before retracting again. Emily wouldn’t want me to hide, he thought. She’d want me to protect what matters.

“What happens now?” Rome asked.

Cronk folded his wings behind him. “Now, you train. You’ll be evaluated for strengths, weaknesses, combat adaptability. You’ll be outfitted with armor based on your physical profile and given your first mission once the team is ready.”

A door hissed open on the far side of the room. Beyond it stretched a long corridor illuminated by pulsating blue lights.

“Follow me,” Cronk said. “Welcome to the Resistance.”

They followed, footsteps echoing off the cold floors. The hallway widened into a massive chamber, part armory, part training ground. Strange weapons hung on the walls guns with glowing coils, blades made of energy, and armor that shifted colors when touched. Drones buzzed overhead, and sparring bots waited silently along the perimeter.

Rome took a slow breath. The air here was different sterile, metallic, artificial. Nothing like the warm scent of Earth. Of home.

He turned to Cronk. “You said we were chosen. Not just for our strength, but our life force. What does that mean exactly?”

Cronk paused. “It means your energy can be tapped, awakened, and eventually, unleashed. The Queen harvests it through pain and fear. We... try to harness it through willpower, emotion, memory.”

Rome frowned. “So, the more I care, the stronger I get?”

“In a way,” Cronk nodded. “But that also makes you more dangerous... to yourself, and others.”

Rome looked down at his clawed hands. His heart thudded in his chest not with fear, but something else. A pull. A pressure. Like the storm before the lightning.

“I guess we better start before she finds us first,” Rome muttered.

He stepped forward, past Shadow and Flower, into the training chamber. The room responded; lights pulsing, walls shifting to form obstacles and targets.

Rome didn’t know if he was a warrior yet. But he would become one.

For his Mother, Romulus, Remus, his younger sister Khaleesi, and most of all for Emily.
"Shadow..." Said Cronk "...You were chosen for your agility and your ability to navigate tight spaces that can help us get into the tight spaces in the Queen's spaceships where you can use your species ability to destroy electrical equipment."

Shadow chuckled modestly "Yes...I do remember teething on wires."
"As for you Flower, your spray can incapacitate others."

"Interesting," the skunk said.
Rome stood off to the side, arms crossed over his broad chest, watching the others with quiet curiosity as Cronk addressed them one by one. Shadow stood tall well, tall for a rat with her arms folded and a sly smirk on her face. Rome could tell she was already evaluating the room, calculating routes, escape hatches, blind spots. She was the kind who saw everything without looking like she was paying attention at all.

“Shadow” Cronk began, his mandibles clicking. “You were chosen for your agility and your ability to navigate tight spaces; air ducts, vent shafts, conduits. You’ll be able to infiltrate the Queen’s starships through paths others can’t follow. And your kind’s natural ability to disrupt electrical equipment is essential to disabling their internal systems.”

Shadow chuckled, brushing a stray strand of black head-fur from her face. “Yes...I do remember teething on wires.”

Rome let out a short breath was that a joke? He wasn’t sure, but it lightened something in his chest. It was the first time since waking up in that tube that he felt like he was surrounded by people, not just strange science experiments like himself.

Cronk turned next to Flower, the striped skunk standing with his arms behind his back like a parade soldier. His white tail flicked behind him with restless energy.

“As for you, Flower,” Cronk continued, “Your spray contains complex bio-enzymes. In confined areas, it can neutralize groups of enemies without lethal force. That gives us an edge in non-destructive infiltration.”

“Interesting,” Flower replied, a mischievous glint in his eye. “You’re saying my funk is now a weaponized funk?”

Rome shook his head slightly. This guy’s gonna get us all killed...or make us laugh to death.

Then Cronk turned to him.

“And you, Rome...” the insectoid said, his compound eyes reflecting the light of the chamber, “You are something unique.”

Rome straightened a little, uncertain.

“Your physiology is more advanced than any of your littermates. You were altered before we found you, your DNA already a hybrid of ancient strength and modern engineering. But when we placed you in the Life Chamber, your body responded beyond expectation.”

Rome’s ears twitched. “You mean...the pain. The burning. That wasn’t just torture?”

Cronk shook his head. “That was your body awakening; absorbing and adapting to the life force energy around you. You are a Conduit. You draw in energy and convert it into physical prowess strength, speed, resilience. That makes you, our Vanguard.”

Rome didn’t know how to respond to that. Vanguard. It sounded...important. Heavy.

He looked down at his fur-covered arms powerful, still slightly damp, black as night. He clenched his hands into fists, felt the weight of them. He wasn’t just bigger he was something more now. But what?

He swallowed hard. “So, what...I’m supposed to be the battering ram?”

“You’re more than that,” Cronk said. “You’re our front line. The first in and the last out.”

Rome turned that over in his mind. He wasn’t sure he was ready for that kind of responsibility. But then he remembered Emily’s voice “You’re special, little guy.

If he could keep the Queen away from Earth...away from her...then he’d do whatever it took.

“Alright,” Rome said. “What do we do next?”
"So now you begin your training...Here you can choose a weapon beyond your natural built-in weapons."

Shadow looked at the various weapons on the wall and selected a pair of Sais they were short and strong like her rodent teeth.
"Any restrictions on amount we can carry?" Flower asked, looking the large selection over.
“So now you begin your training,” Cronk announced. “Here, you can choose a weapon something beyond your natural, built-in talents. A tool that suits your combat style and complements your strengths.”

The walls of the chamber shifted, mechanical arms unfolding to reveal an impressive arsenal ranged weapons, melee tools, things that glowed with unstable energy, others that looked like ancient Earth relics reimagined for war in space.

Shadow moved without hesitation; eyes sharp. She scanned the rack, then reached for a pair of short, curved Sais sleek, steel gray with reinforced grips. She spun one with practiced precision, the weapon a natural extension of her hand.

“These are short, strong, and fast,” she said, baring her sharp teeth in a grin. “Like me.”

Rome smirked. He was beginning to like her style.

“Any restrictions on the amount we can carry?” Flower asked as he walked slowly down the weapon racks, tail trailing behind him. He eyed a heavy looking cannon that probably weighed more than he did, then quickly turned his attention to something more...practical: a modular blaster staff that could break down into dual pistols or lock together into a polearm.

Cronk answered, “You’ll be expected to carry only what you can wield effectively. Infiltration agents should prioritize mobility, not overload themselves.”

“Fair enough,” Flower said, lifting the staff with surprising ease. “Can’t be stunning people if I’m too slow to get away.”

Rome stepped forward, the smell of metal and oil strong in the air. His claws flexed unconsciously as he took in the choices. There were massive hammers, swords as tall as Flower, and a few vicious looking gauntlets meant to enhance strikes.

One weapon caught his eye a great sword that shimmered with a faint blue energy. Rome gripped the hilt and pulled it from its mount. The blade sang softly as it left the holster, humming with energy that seemed to recognize him.

“I like this one,” Rome said, holding it up. “Simple. Strong. No tricks.”

"Now..." Said Cronk "...Onto the holographic training room!"

They entered a large room that initially was all white squares of the walls and floor then some other Rebel Malignoids pressed some buttons and the room became a barren wasteland world similar to Mars
I'm sorry now that I have a more enthusiastic writer on our team I want to make something better for him this was just a half assed idea I came up with to pass time I'll think up something better

The End!
