Following on from the other day, who is your favourite song lyricist? That is, someone who writes the words to songs. I know we are going to see some of the usual suspects - Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, Brian Wilson, Lennon/McCartney - but it would be good to have some new songwriters to get into. Me? Jim Steinman. Rock and roll operettas. Over-The-Top excess. Pianos and drums and squealing guitars. And lyrics that tell epic stories.  Reminder to all: This is a judgment-free zone.
