How did you come up with your username? Why use a pen name, not your own? Want to share? |

midnitewhisper Sitting here on WDC today Searching new items, Reading old faves I started looking at peoples handles. It puzzled me and made me wonder What inspired your unique user name? I'd never really thought about this before, even though I've been a part of WDC for almost four years now. I've always known people use a different name than their own, but I never stopped to think why. Now... I'm curious! Was it because of fear of others knowing? Did we want to be someone else? Do we have an alter ego? I'm sure there are hundreds of reasons why and I'd love to know your reason! Please quiet my curiousity muse. She's preventing me from writing anything new!  Please let me know if you will allow me to add your username to the item body of this message forum to add some examples of the names I've found unique on this site.
