*Apple* It must be written within the last year, no submissions written before January 1, 2024.

*Apple* Your item or entry must follow the prompt.

*Apple* The word limit for both fiction and non-fiction is 1,500 words.

*Apple* Please post the word count/line count of your item at the bottom of your piece.

*Apple* You are welcome to enter both static items and book entries.

*Apple* Post your item using either the {bitem:plus number} or {entry: plus number} links in the forum comments.

*Apple* Each month's contest begins at the 1st day of the month and ends on the last day of the month at 11:59 PM WDC time.

*Apple* Entry may not be edited after due date of contest until after judging is finished.


*Apple* You may enter one poem and one story or essay for a total of two entries.
