No worse than any invented verb I've seen used in journalism or business writing. This is how such verbs as "to leverage" or "to task" have come into the language. ("To task" has been a verb for a long time, meaning "to cause wear or difficulty", but I'm referring to the meaning "to assign work to".)

Being YA makes it appropriate, actually. I've noticed a strong tendency to convert nouns to verbs in youthful speech.
