I think that the revival of this forum and the poetry contest is a wonderful idea; the Star Trek milieu is one of the most positive, life-affirming visions of the future that American popular culture has to offer. The 2009 film was a stroke of genius that revitalized the franchise, and I, for one, look forward to many more sequels!
