There already is such an option.

When you are about to post a comment to a note, there is a line below the Post Comment and Cancel buttons that reads:
          Email me about replies. | Set Default

If you uncheck the box and click Set Default, it will take you to the page in your Account Settings

where you can change the Notebook & Updates Reply Notifications setting and Submit Changes so that you will no longer receive notifications of any comments posted to a note after your comment.
