Is it too late to join this challenge?

I didn't know it existed, but I could sure use as much help as I can get in order to get through NaNoWriMo this year. I figured this Prep will get my writing juices flowing as I just don't know where to begin (never done this before). I usually write poetry or flash-fiction, so NaNoWriMo will be a real challenge for me. I'm not even sure how I'll come up with that many words for a single story. I really commend those who have a knack for novel writing. It's hard! *Smirk2*

Anyway, am I too late? :)
