I was like you. Once I started doing the Prep, I realized how much outlining helped, even if eventually I veered off. This year, I am still not too sure about my story's ending. I have two endings in mind, although I entered one of them inside the outline. I'll only know when I write the whole thing.

Your book sounds interesting, btw. I love historical fiction. *Smile*
