He's just so disgustingly intriguing. He seems obvious, yet you sense that there's more. The whole story is about magic, and he is the link to the world where the grimoire is from. Well, other than Grandmother. Most of Cuthbert, I guess, and could use some interaction without Stellae or Fane. But I digress. Maybe it's the evil old man in me. *SMIRK*
