I'm not sure how relevant your question is now that you've entered another short story. But, just so you know, the 3,000-word count limit is for the entire story. So, if there are poems within that story, they will count to the word total. Similarly, if you wanted to use one of the poems from the story as an entry on its own, then it must be no longer than 60 lines.
I keep to these limits because, often, I am judging on my own, and when there are a lot of entries, it is a lot of reading.
