Keep working!

I know it can be discouraging, but I also know there's a wonderful thing at the end of the Prep - NaNoWriMo and being ready to write that novel you keep thinking about. Having to push to catch up is difficult but it also helps us be ready for that moment when November happens and we get to write... so make progress. Do your best. Let that book be real.
