No information is useless, especially for a writer. There's always a way to work it into a story, poem, conversation, forum post, etc.

That said, the least useful thing I have memorized (to my great shame) is the opening theme from Cops. I wish I could scrub it from my traitorous brain, but no, it's lodged firmly in there like a parasite.

Worst of all, I have never seen the show.
