Woohoo, what fun to meander back in time… although I am not sure what to offer. Back then, they didn't teach subjects we didn't need. I have used every single lesson learned in the classroom.
However, knowing Julie Jones really… Really liked Italian and would score you many points on a Friday night date. (In 1972 and 1973, for a young man, learning how to score seemed extremely important.) But even this analogy may be less than genuine, as I have used many of the lessons Julie taught me (and one or two others) back then, though her classes were never held during school hours. Well, save for a few times we (our country kid fraternity) cut class and swam in the old phosphate mines. Further, depending on the group's makeup for the day and whether we intended to return to school later, our adventures and escapades lacked concern over modesty. But that is surely a story for a different QOTD.
