Question of the Day!

Most medical stuff (medication, hospital services, etc.). Insurance, for those who have it, mitigates the cost... but have you ever seen the "total" cost of some of that stuff? I had an emergency appendectomy over a decade ago and the surgery plus one-night stay in the hospital for monitoring was $54,000! I only had to pay the copay under my insurance, but imagine needing a life-saving minor surgery and not having insurance... I'd still be trying to pay it off fifteen years later!
