Yes, Olivia's getting better , no cheating for me. I have to do everything the hard way I finally took what was an important event that was only summarized in the original short story and created a new story of that event. I think it works! Of course, since I entered it at the literal last minute, I didn't have time to remove "incomplete" from the title! "October 28: Plot: Background Story (Contest Rnd) incomplete" 

I believe I reviewed Christmas Lights some time ago. It was a good one–I didn't realize it was the same characters! Your NaNo novel is going to have some real depth, and steam!
