1. My silver medal.
I'd won a silver medal in a poetry contest at age 13, and it got stolen.
(I'm assuming 'lost' includes stolen.)
2. My published writing file
I had carefully kept clippings of my writing (and photocopies) in the same file - and in 2007, discovered the file to be missing.
Have now started keeping the copies in other files in different locations
