They always insult you or what you do or say, they think you're not good enough.
For example, someone I once knew yelled at someone else I once knew for half an hour straight. The person being yelled at had made a perfectly legal righthand turn through the intersection. We were all trapped in the car with this guy yelling about how stupid the driver of our car was.
I was only fifteen and more than a little terrified and upset by this other passenger's behavior. So I started crying uncontrollably. The guy notices this, and without missing a beat screams that I'm a "Beallaring Calf!"(don't ask me what that means or how it's really spelled it's just an insult.)
My response to this was of course to get mad back and punch him in the arm. This was not the correct action to take. I'm gonna plea I was fifteen and in distress.
I don't know if thats a red flag or just bad. Still, if the person is calling you names or being really negative about the things you do without offering constructive feedback, that's kind of no fun.
