Question of the Day!

Well I'm not sure. I miss my left knee not being wonky. I miss having a challenge for my brain the way I did in college.

Dislike? It's so easy for me to judge people with little kids. I hate the way some adults just leave them unsupervised and let them run amok with no consequences for behaviors.(No, I don't mean beatings, I mean the "If you don't stop kicking your sister, this car is turning around and no one is getting ice cream!")

I understand that their frontal lobes aren't fully developed but there needs to be boundaries and expectations for behavior! Other wise, in my opinion, you're setting them up to be precocious pains for customer service, their relatives or worse, the criminal justice system. Even if they sustain/have frontal lobe damage, there still needs to be guidelines for appropriate behavior.

But what do I know? I'm just a thirty something with no direct line descendants. Oh wait, I happened to work in a group home trying to help people with disabilities act in socially acceptable ways...not children but they were definitely an experience.
