I felt unqualified to answer when I first read this question. Who am I to decide the fate of anyone, anything, the course of history, or the contents of our planet? Having perused the answers, I know that we are all unqualified in our mortal and finite experience to make such choices. We don’t have the ability to see the future or calculate the ramifications of our deletions. Want to delete wars, deceit, murder, theft and all other evils? It sounds noble and desirable but to do so you must delete people. And not just some people, all of us. We are all prone to selfishness and we forgive ourselves for the weaknesses we condemn in others. I think there would be nothing more dangerous than to hand a human being a divine eraser and set him loose on the universe.
