Welcome to Writing.Com!

It takes most people time to learn their way around the site, so not to worry. Make you click on the newsfeed link on the left of your screen, then click on Community. You will be able to see all the posts from everybody on the site there. Please feel free to jump into any conversation or start one yourself.

Here are a couple of "newbie"-friendly contests you might want to check out. The short story version is running all month (August). The poetry version will be next month.
