I don't consider myself superstitious...but honestly, I do worry about jinxing something that's going well by mentioning it–like knocking on wood or touching iron, I suppose. Yes, this is definitely a superstition with me:
I saw my primary physician for an annual check-up a few weeks ago, and she asked me a very specific question. Instead of answering it, I responded with, "Let's just pretend you didn't even ask me that question." She laughed, understanding that all was well and I didn't want to tempt fate by answering. And see! I didn't even want to mention the question here in case fate is listening, whatever that means!
Aside from that, no, I don't believe in dark omens or unlucky numbers or always wearing the same socks to poker night.
