I never go back to my stories, so I have no idea. lol But I have rewritten the same scene several times during NaNo, several days apart (because with my brain injury, I can't remember exactly what happened last time lol) and had different outcomes. I can get some very interesting stuff that way, including ideas I love, but that don't really fit there, so I try to find another spot for them or that "perfect" piece of dialogue. And doing the same scene expands my word count when I'm running low on ideas to reach 50k. lol
