October Novel Prep Challenge

It's good to always consider your audience. Explain perhaps at the outset of a new word, or put a list of words in the back of the book. I've seen that done before.

But if you use an unfamiliar term, sometimes a reader can figure it out with the action and dialogue accompanying that word.
