One of my older brothers was a Pelham Puppet enthusiast. As a teenager in the 70's he worked at the Pelham factory in England during the summer (we lived in Wisconsin, so this was a heck of a summer job). My dad built him a big puppet stage in our basement. I don't know how many puppets my (late) brother had, but there were a lot. He would let my friends and me play with the puppets on the stage. I thought he had pretty much all of the Pelham Puppets, but clearly he did not since I had never seen Muffin the Mule before. I recognized that box in the link Lilli gave you because I had a couple of Pelham Puppets of my own.    |
