Question of the Day!

I was mostly joking, but yeah, I think a lot of booze has gotten watered-down. My state banned Everclear (the reason for which I may or may not have had something to do with back in college), and things like the world-famous Bacardi 151 rum isn't even made anymore.

On the plus side, we have (or, perhaps, had) great imports of things like real tequila from Mexico (Cuervo Gold is not real tequila, even if it technically meets all the requirements), and a plethora of delicious scotch; and there's been a growth in the local craft liquor scene—for good and for, you know, not so good. And, of course, beer is much, much better than it used to be.

So it's not all bad. The joke was meant to be about Kid Me drinking booze, which he may or may not have done and the statute of limitations is long past on that anyway.

Oh, well, at least we haven't reinstated Prohibition. Yet.
