Two incidents, both car-related. 1) Skidding down a hill, unable to stop, barely able to steer, but still somehow managing to squeeze between two city buses. 2) Driving perfectly straight at an unchanging speed, only to suddenly see the oncoming traffic through my front passenger window. Steering in the direction of the skid worked as advertised and life went on.
