I read political platforms. I try to pay attention to the minions behind the scenes informing the platforms and policies. I'm generally a fan of minority governments in Canada.
None of this means I'm neutral. I definitely have personal leanings that bend towards "hey, let's not be a shit person and do things a shit person would do."
Admittedly, in the current political landscape, it's been hard to balance that with the sheer fury toward one particular country's rhetoric. Voting for "whoever will say f*ck you and your sharpies the hardest" isn't a great strategy.
I will say, this is entire timeline is stupid. Politics is supposed to be boring. It's not entertainment. I'll repeat it for the people at the back: POLITICS IS SUPPOSED TO BE BORING.
