Tea, of the black tea varieties. Occasionally, green tea. Absolutely no sugar! When I first met my hubby's British family eons ago, tea was THE acceptable beverage. They doctored it with milk and sugar, so it took time to train them. They considered no sugar an odd character trait. Initially, I thought them to be crazy sipping hot tea even during the sweltering summer. They made me into a convert. Tea is for any weather, any temperature.
