From an "all associated / related actions" perspective, I'd have to say coffee [Lilli ☕ stands up and cheers ]. USD $0.75 gets me an acceptable cup of senior-discounted coffee at McD's (and usually not on an "I drove by just for the coffee" basis), while at home, dropping a pod in my coffeemaker gets the job done. Depending on where I bought the box containing the pods, the per-unit cost could be less than half the cost of the McD's cup - but then I wouldn't get to talk to some friendly people.
For actual flavor, it would be a cup of hot chocolate made with a wedge from a tablet of Ibarra or Abuelita's Chocolate. However, you have to break the wedge away from the tablet, heat the milk, whisk it to within an inch of its life to dissolve the wedge and then - horror of horrors - clean the pan used to heat the milk. Would I enjoy a cup given to me? Absolutely. Would I do all that work myself, just to treat myself to a cup of excellent chocolate. Very unlikely, and how crazy is that?
