Anything in the nightshade family. Chili peppers give me hives. Eating tomatoes makes my stomach cramp up and loads of inflammation. Potatoes—Solanum tuberosa not yams or sweet potatoes—cause inflammation and diarrhea!
So yeah doesn't matter if it's the visible kind or tucked away in the "special seasoning" or in a small amount. Any nightshade isn't tolerated by my body. Weird and ironic given I am a potato on WDC.
Makes eating out a nightmare. Especially with potato rolls and deserts using potato flour to give that "sweet" flavor.
