Uh...every high school teacher: poor attendance, distracted, difficult to work with, not working up to potential...blah blah blah

Guess which teachers I listened to? Yeah, not the lone voice in the wilderness

As far as those other twits - found out later I had bipolar disorder and ADHD.

They treated me like I was stupid, so I "became" stupid. For the longest time--like more than a decade. Then I sent myself back to Uni and rocked the crap out of it. But still to this day, I run into a teacher here and there, and they still seem surprised I amounted to anything. One (female) even commented that I was still "pretty", like it was my only effen redeeming quality.

Safe to say my opinion of teachers is quite clouded and jaded despite my best efforts to acknowledge my experience isn't everyone's experience.
