Question of the Day!

Well, I believe Equity is something to do with money you own which is tied up in a house. But perhaps that is a typo

There is a lot of talk about Diversity and Equality in our modern society - about embracing Diversity and about giving everyone equal opportunities regardless of any protected characteristics. Especially I find in Work places, and in the media (I actually had to do a training course recently about this subject at work). However, in reality, I do not always believe that this is how things are played out, and that in reality diversity is not always embraced, and people from marginalised backgrounds or with disabilities including mental health issues and sensory disorders are not always given the same opportunities whilst recognising their differences and making reasonable adjustments.

I think this is a shame. But I also find this very hypocritical, as I think that organisations should practice what they preach,

However, I do think things are getting better in some areas(in the UK) But of course, following Brexit and the growing rise of REFORM UK the right wing populist party, it seems many people are not embracing diversity at all and we are going backwards....
