90% of my fantasy stories are set in a shared universe, a sword and sorcery universe. I've had (as of writing) 7 stories from this universe published. But I think that is something many fantasy writers do.

As for my horror stories, I have set up in a few published and a lot of unpublished works an area of South Australia set around the real town of Ardrossan that is where my horror exists in its own little world. I got the idea from King's Derry World, and I find it is working really well, especially with 3 stories from that world published. I just add little details from older stories into newer ones that are not in the "real world" but in the story world to tie things together.
