If you click on the item's number, there is an automatic save to your clipboard. If you click the number again, then you get {item:xxxxx} which is also automatically saved to your clipboard. So long as you do not save anything else or exit the session, you can come to this forum and hit paste (CTRL+V) and {item:xxxxx} will appear here. Then go back and add the letter "b" before the "i" in item and you have a bitem link.

If it is an entry in a book, then the second click on the number will get you {entry:xxxxxx}. This is then simply pasted into a forum message here, but you can't add a 'b'.
