To be fair, Chat GPT, and AI in general, don't know what facts are, only what facts look like, so while a lot of the time it can get those facts right and be better than google translate or whatever, it can also, like, literally outright lie to you sometimes. The fact that its explanations make you feel more confident in its translations is part of the problem with AI, considering it's entirely possible that it might just as confidently explain something that it literally just made up as it did something backed up by facts, which would be an entirely different problem. It's a useful tool, but there's still plenty of room for ambiguities or mistakes, especially given the Libra was written by the medieval equivalent to a troll.

Honestly though, I've always been thrown off by more 'modern' things and trends popping up in BoM, both because it doesn't happen very often and because I've always imagined the story taking playing in the early to mid 10's personally. I get taken out of it on the occasions I see TikTok mentioned, and I'd probably check out completely if Will started asking Grok to translate the Libra or something lol
