Oh, goodness! It's been a while since I've had a vacation. I had a good day trip with a dear friend out to Gulf Shores Beach, Alabama. Walking along where the sand and water meet was beautiful, and I found some seashells and some pretty rocks. Even after all this time, you can still see where hurricane Katrina damage was evident. But time covers over devastation and a few scars remain. It was nice to get away from the cares of everyday, and just relax and chill out.
