First week after the summer holidays and it's time to get started again. It's been three weeks of (almost) no writing and generally very little in the form of daily routines. Back at work, everything seems to be chaotic still, so there's that. Still, there's nothing to do but put the keys into the ignition and get started again.
Core Goals
Write, edit, or outline every day: Same number one priority as always: stay consistent. I don't have any particular goals as for what I want to work on, which is always dangerous. There are writing exercises, stories that needs editing, and a Lodestar competition I want to enter. I'm hoping on getting on with the edits or the Lodestar story, but likely, I'll just end up doing exercises most of the week.
Get exercise: I want to get back into my pre-vacation habit of getting 2-3 exercise sessions done every week.
Stop snacking: Another good pre-vacation habit I need to kickstart.
Participate in the weekly Codex lunch: Yet another pre-vacation habit I want to pick up.
Do vocal exercises: And yet another one. I want to get back into doing the exercises 1-2 times a day.
Stretch Goals
Do a WdC review: I'm not really in the habit of doing WdC reviews anymore, at least not outside WYRM. But WYRM has moved off site, so if I'm going to use WdC at all, I might as well start reviewing more broadly again.
Catch with Codex: There are several weeks of forum posts I need to catch up on.
Do a blog post: I have some short story recommendations I would like to polish and post.
Submit stories: I got several rejections for stories I sent out just before my vacation. Those need to go out again.
Do a WYRM review: This has become a bit more difficult with WYRM moving of site, but I want to get at least one review done.
