What are your thoughts on empathy?


I believe we are born with the ability to have it. We are made in our Lord's image and we know He has it. Today is my birthday and I am 80. Wasn't sure if I would make it to 80, especially back when I was 25. My mom and day both left us before their 80s. My sister and brother left me a long time ago. I am blessed. Yes, I have empathy, I must. I believe in the Lord and we must forgive others.

I think a lot about my life these days; that I am blessed to be here in this great big world. Sure it has its problems but I am blessed to be a part of it. I am thankful to be an American; to be born in such a wonderful place. I have lots of empathy for all those who have little; third world countries; those who are sick, those who have lost love ones. As I mentioned earlier, I believe we all have it; we need to use it.
