Romeo and Juliet, I know it's based on a alleged historical event and written by Shakespeare. Still it's the dumbest ending.

Instead of Juliet faking her death and then offing herself after Romeo thought she was really dead I would've had them run off together. Away from their feuding families. I mean if it still had to be a tragedy maybe have them die by leaping off a cliff after a long chase scene. But seriously even given that R+J were just teens their decision is really really stupid.
