Only ONE?! Okay, more than one. In writing, characters that are perfect, or their "flaws" don't matter. Boring! Or when stories contradict themselves, especially in sequels or next books in trilogies. Publishers, don't you have editors/ beta readers? Or do you let these writers get away with anything because their audiences don't deserve good writing? (And, yes, Alex Aster, I am looking at your so-called writing!) In work, when people treat workers as their personal slaves, talking down to them, demeaning them, or demanding their time when other people also need service just because you are apparently the most important person in the world and you "own" this worker on minimum pay. In the rest of life, people who peddle their pseudo-scientific beliefs onto others as reality. Look, believe what you want; that's cool. Part of being a human and us all being different. But do not try to force your potentially dangerous beliefs on people because you read a post on Facebook. The list of pseudo-sciences out there is insane. There is a reason they are called "pseudo"; despite what some people think, it does not mean "alternate", it means, "false." Ah-hem. I feel better now. Thankyou. |
