Question of the Day!

I've generally enjoyed my career in the entertainment industry, and I love making movies and television... but I do sometimes wonder what would have happened if I had chosen a career in public service. I'm not sure I'm cut out for elected office — I hate being the center of attention, and would stress out if I had to worry about getting re-elected every few years — but I could definitely see myself running a nonprofit, or being a legislative aide to someone in Congress, or even being a public defender or something.

Alternately, within the entertainment industry, I often wonder where I'd be if I had eschewed the corporate route and fully invested in making it as a writer/producer. I don't think the odds would have been in my favor on that one... I might very well have ended up crashing out and going to work for a nonprofit or as a legislative aide or something!
