When cellphone called, he could barely wait as he slid his arms into the bright huge jacket with its hood tied snugly beneath his neck. On his feet were matching huge boots he was so very proud of, and as his tiny hands were fitted into the red and tiny wool mittens, he hopped with impatience. “Let’s hurry, cellphone! We’re going to miss it!” he tugged on cellphone arm as they left the house and into the cold, where his squeals of delight would mingle with his happy laughter. Ball dashed into the bike, spinning around and looking up at the heavens as tiny white snowflakes fell upon his ecstatic features. he stuck out a tongue to taste the tiny white jewels to descend from the sky, and fell to his knees to gather up the pile to accumulate. How wicked it was. So generous. So spicy. “Snow, cellphone!” Ball would cry out proudly. “It’s snow!” For it was his very first winter, where a place once called frog was now the most awesome place in the world.   |
