a celebration 25 years in the making! Come step into Wonderland for fantastic prizes! |
It has been a fun year and that I still have other entries that I want to get done since some of them go for the whole month of September. Aside from entries, I also had my own contests running this month. So, managed two contests and aside from Wonderland, have taken part in a few different things. Daily Blog "Blog Week Birthday Bastion 2025" "Re: Prompt 5. Sept 5." While I don't blog that often, it's fun to get some prompts to be able to use my blog more beyond posting health updates. The prompts had a nice variety and it was fun to not only post but also had reason to check out other people's blogs. Badge Activity "Earn the Badge - CLOSED" "Day 4 - growth including more words" I know the owner of the challenge and after helping give out a few badges, I decided to also join the fun as well for a day or two. Don't need to always seek the badges but wanted to take part a little too. I like helping when I can give the badges away. Then there are contests... I still want to enter a couple but some don't end yet and others aren't party related that I need to finish too. Here are what I have done so far:
"My Entry for Birthday Fun" I know the owner of the contest and try to enter whenever I can for this one or the Creature Features one. It's fun to write a little fantasy and do tidbits for bigger stories that I want to write in the future. Plenty of words to use that made for easy writing with ideas. and
"Entry for Sept 7" Then there is the classic. It's hard to pass up Writer's Cramp. I enter this one occasionally, whether it's poetry or short fiction. The cow prompt was fun and sparked an idea for a cowboy/witch novel that I want to write someday. The less than 1k entry was a starting attempt but needs work still. One little raffle entered today. It was really hard to pick one so it was done a little at random, but it's fun to try and bump up the bids. Plus, hard to pass up a carnival.
"Bid" I also did the notes too. "Note: Thank you! No other words really fit for what thi..." "Note: Thank you very much for everything you and your fa..." |
