Okay, only just checking out this activity so I am joining at the end and working my way back.

Some cool activities I participated in this Birthday week:

1. "Blog Week Birthday Bastion 2025"

I have been participating in this contest for years (and even won a few times, yay!). Petra always gives really interesting and fun prompts. It reminds me of the 30-Day Blogging Challenge, which I miss. There's always food for thought and it's great to read what the other participants make of the same prompt. I also like that you don't have to super strictly adhere to the prompt, you can take it where it guides you. Some of my entry posts are:"Re: Prompt 5. Sept 5."

2. "ANGEL-WITCH Bingo Closed. See you 2026!"

I always participate in Wraithy WiԎchy of Woe!

's events as well. They're always good fun and she has super cool badges. One day I'll win her cat one - ha! I like how it's easy and quick to enter and everyone stands the same chance at winning a prize. It's free as well, so it's really done out of the kindness of her heart.

3. "Merit Badge Give Away! 25TH WDC Party"

I only just discovered this today, which is a shame. And promptly messed up

. Oh well, that just meant that I sent two people a badge instead of one, so more partying! I like that it's basically a gift exchange - you send a badge, you get a badge, everyone gets something and that's good fun. You don't know which badge you will receive so there's an element of surprise, too. My entry post: "MB Sent!"

4. "WDC Birthday Carnival"

This is a Jeremummy

event so, as always, it's really well-organised and there's a lot going on. There are raffles, there's an auction, and there's a writing challenge - plus a special golden ticket draw as well. The badges are amazing. The man has so many Merit Badges

. I definitely have my eye on some, so I placed some bids and bought some tickets: "Tickets"

5. "Olivia's Birthday Bash"

It's Olivia doing OctoPrep

's birthday and it coincides with the W.Com Birthday Week and she's decided to throw a party. I like that it's nice and straightforward. There's a way to get a Merit Badge directly if you want one, there are chances at further badges and there's a chance at a share of the jackpot which is huge!

Also, it benefits good causes. My entry: "Tickets, Please!"
