After staring at a pic of my muse all day and night, I discovered that my idea wasn't too broad, but incomplete. I had only 3 elements to make my story. I added two more, and the focus suddenly appeared, showing me the way. Now, I have a stolen (never recovered) 40-million-dollar diamond, an abused detective who is fighting her own demons (she believes that she murdered her husband), an organized crime boss, two corrupt justices, and the missing 12-year-old daughter of the Chief Justice. Focus: the detective must find the girl before she is trafficked.
