So, I am the new organiser of this here forum. Apologies to everyone in advance. But, please, give all the love you can to Lilli ☕ and I thank her for this opportunity.
2 things - one, I have no idea how to make it look purty, and two, I am Australian, so I spell and punctuate differently.
What subjects do you think you know more than the average person about?
Because of the nature of our art, writers often gather information that goes above and beyond what would be considered "normal" as we attempt to make our stories or writing as realistic as possible.
Me? Quite a few! European mythologies (including Egyptian and Mesopotamian), monsters and cryptids, Australian history (and especially South Australian), English language (this is because I was a teacher), prehistory, modern (post-1955) music, the human body and what it can do and how it reacts (first university degree), and herpetology. This is from stories, work, education, and just me being interested. I'm a great big nerd and proud of it.
Reminder to all:
