I know I answered this yesterday, but I thought I would talk now about careers I had no desire to be in. I never thought about being a Doctor. The sight of blood doesn't bother me, I just never wanted to pursue that field. The same with being a Lawyer. No thank you. 'Nuff said about that. Being a teacher never appealed to me, until I discovered a love of teaching. Not in a elementary, junior high or high school environment. I found I loved teaching adults. I spent four years in the Navy doing that, then worked for Motorola for 24 years doing that. There were times I did feel bad to teachers and the requirements placed on them. A teacher has those advanced degrees, I have a HS diploma. We'll not talk about the wage difference, but I did make more than most teachers. Jim Dorrell{/sig} |
